well it says introduce yourself so here I am and i wont do the usual 'and I am an alcoholic' joke - oops damn just did.

the wrong side of 40 (and a bit) I finally took the plunge and had my first go on the ice last week followed by my second one this week and loved every minute

just looked up this forum from the Skip Cottage blog and joined to learn a bit more and find out what you real curlers talk about. Also to see if there are any words of wisdom for an old newbie as well (other than try and stay off your backside, I found that one out the 'hard' way  Cheesy )

Welcome Kay

I'm the wrong/high side of 70 and I've been trying to Curl for over 50 years and I've had a few falls.  Glad you found Skip Cottage - certainly the best source of Curling information in Scotland.  If we can help then just ask and most of us will try to help.
