This is a new site set up by Anton Porotikov from somewhere near Russia. For those who might remember how this one started, spare a little time for Anton and register! http://curlingnet.com/

Hi John. Anton is coming to the International Gathering. The Gathering is run by Colin McCall. Why don't you make your way to the Capital and meet up with your old aquaintances from Penicuik. It would be good to see you. Jim Ramsay

Are you sure you want the riff-raff there? But for you, Colin and Anton I'll have to make the effort. Maybe Saturday, over lunchtime somewhere.....

It would be great to see you over the weekend. Just turn up anytime at Murrayfield or join us at our D/Dance on Saturday night.

John, A wee update on The Gathering. Anton did not get a visa therefor will not be here. The other three of his team are here. This means we can find you a game if you wish......Just turn up

Yes, and no! I thought we could give both Curlingnet and the Curlers' Gathering a wee reminder to all! Any problem with that?

No problem with that, other than you're completely underselling yourselves if that's your objective.

Point taken, FB, I'll try harder next time!
How about Murrayfield this weekend, folks. It's the International Curlers' Gathering! Sadly Anton can't make it, but follow his efforts on curlingnet.com for the Worlds.

In all seriousness JM, what exactly is this International Curlers Gathering ? I may have been hiding under a rock somewhere remote and missed it, but I haven't heard of it, can you or anyone else expand a little upon it and really advertise it ?

The organisers of the International Gathering do not seem to have any press officer, or have made any endeavours to get publicity for their event this year. Neither did they do so last season, although something did come to the magazine after the event.

Thanks for the links JM. The event does seems to be hugely under-publicised though...
