Did anyone from this forum go to the dinner - I assume that HWY did.  Anything happen and what was it like?

I would have liked to attend but the cost for me would have been £150+ - that should pay for attendance at the Dumfries Summerspiel Grin

Short report with award winners here:
http://skipcottage.blogspot.com/2009/05/this-is-my-life.html

It was a good night. I enjoyed the meal, but somewhat overwhelmed by being put in the limelight.

John Beattie is an excellent MC. George McNeill is one of the best after dinner speakers I have heard.

Bob, you have done it again Smiley  You have managed to show the RCCC how it should be done despite not getting paid Sad

THANK YOU

Were the RCCC staff not at the Awards Dinner?  Do most of them not have Laptop Computers which have access to the Web either from the Venue or home?  Do the RCCC think that we, the membership, don't care even after asking us to take the time to vote?

Come on, this is just not good enough.

The person who did most of the photography for the RCCC was Theresa McDougall who is no longer employed at Cairnie House.  Other members have done an excellent job but not in the volume that Theresa managed.

Also thanks Bob but where did you get that tie Grin
