Hey there,

I'm an independent game developer planning on releasing a Curling game on the Xbox 360 in the coming months and was looking to gather some opinions on what other curlers would like to see in a curling video game.

I've only been curling for 2 years myself and would appreciate any comments or feedback.

At the moment, I plan to fully support traditional matches and a skins game, along with practice mode and a target practice mini-game. Obviously the accuracy of the physics is important, but I think I have that pretty close for the most part.

If anyone has played curling games in the past and felt they were missing something or if you simply have general comments about what you would like to see I'd be grateful for your thoughts.

Thanks

Hello, wrong time of year to post this I guess!!

Anyway, I have never played any curling game, but obviously, something that was very sensitive to the line you take when you 'throw' a stone would be of use, as would weight, but unless you have something akin to a Wii, I don't know how you'd manage to do that properly.

Also, what are you doing about sweepers and would there be an option about what the ice would be like??

Could you pick to be the skip so you can practice that too??

I only play Curling because I'm too slow to do anything else!
