Buying planes and working at the School. It was the Primary's sports day in the morning and in the staff race, I came second out of a about 20 others (all woman except for me).

I'd have been first and I was closing in on the leader, but I didn't get a good start due to the amount of people/ elbows etc and the fact that the cone I had to run round at the end of the course was slightly further out than all the others!

Excuses excuses I know!!

Oh well, the school now knows I probably run like a big girl now!!   Cheesy

It's the secondary's sports day soon, so I might have another chance at glory yet, ha ha!!

Work it out yourself, I didn't go to all that effort just to tell others, thereby denying them the pleasure of undertaking this task for themselves!!    Cheesy

Everyone's favourite* engineering student managed to talk his way into a business internship with Scottish Enterprise...

Not bad, really - learning a lot abut a nice new area of the world i've never seen before!

*this opinion is completely personal and may not be truly representative of the general opinion of the country as a whole...

Don't know about you lot but i feel the season is aproaching fast and furious?  I got another phone call last night asking me to commit to games away from home.  I can't wait to gain this experiance and meet lots of new people.  Im still not sure how i am going to afford to play this season, might have to pay m subs in instalments, don't think the secretary would like me much...
My season starts on the 23rd of september, when does everyone else start?

Friends are playing at Greenacres on, I think, September 8. I suspect the Renfrewshire rink is the first to get the regular season underway. Anyone know different?

The Lockerbie U-17 is scheduled for the weekend of September 25-27, and that will be the first curling down this way.

I was just saying that I am looking forwards to September for like, the first time ever!
September is a month I hate, it's a boring month between summer and Christmas. What else can I say??
At least October and November have the decency of having things going on, even if it is mainly for kids.
I also hate March and April (purely because everyone always bangs on so much about spring and easter as if it's the best thing since sliced egg! and also from my years as a kid being taken to church, which was largely meaningless to me seeing as nobody actually explained properly what it was all about. You were just supposed to know!).

Anyway, let September come and pass as quickly as is decently possible please!!
