YIPPEE
 Eve in the finals

Eurosport are threatening to show the game at 7.30am Saturday

I wonder how they will manage to muck it up this year given their previous pathetic efforts!!

Hi,

I am not Scottish, nor particularly into curling (though I do watch it when the Olympics are on).  BUT I do live in Moscow, and have just discovered that the European Championship Final is tomorrow morning.  So I'm going to go!

Anyone on this forum also going?

I'll post a report through the eyes of a complete novice.  Well, not even that good.

I am gobsmacked!  The two Eurosport commentators have just said that the two finals early tomorrow should be great games and for a wee change I will totally agree with them although I obviously hope that one is better than the other Grin

Either the information or my timing was wrong, but all I saw of this was the final score! Nonetheless, well done to the ladies, they did it and they did it well. The men saved a very bad week at the office and can at least hold their heads high, no disgrace there. And well done to team Norway -- dare I say "at last"?

Same here John.  I went by the time on the RCCC website and missed the game but like you a brilliant result for the girls.

I was just reading the report on the BBC Sport website and final trivia fact surprise me had me reaching for google; Scotland's first gold since 1975 - shome mistake shurely.

But nay, google or rather the ECF website indicated otherwise.

The results made for interesting reading too - whilst I knew Andrea Schopp had triumphed back in the 80's I hadnt realised quite how many championships she had won since.
