Has anyone seen the new balance plus shoes.  The 500 series, they look pretty cool.
I like how they look more stylish.  What does everyobne else think.

You must have read my mind meamegs, I was n the Balance Plus website pricing a new of Delux for myself.

I'm not keen on the new 500 series based on the look, would rather have a new set of Delux, thinking of asking relatives to bring some over in May.  Will have to check the currency rates though.

My own shoes are now a bit wrecked after 8 years of abuse, but can't afford a new set every season.

You will not be surprised to know that one of the most frequent statements we get from people who are contemplating attending a Come & Try event is "" I cannot skate,  how will I be able to learn to curl ? ""

I can quite belive this as i hear it all the time.

I personaly think the deluxe look like a mens brouges, not my idea of "nice" shoes.

Buy one of those DIY kits with the glue and all the rest, and make a pair yourself!

The DIY kits are ok if you have got decent ice to play on.  Where i play the ice is slow and you need a fast sole to achive strike weight.  The diy soles are not technical at all so are slow and ideal for begginers.

You could always send pair of nice trainers off to balance plus and they'll put a sole on them for you.........

The  folks at customs might not be able to charge as much as they would for a "new" pair of shoes direct from Balance Plus but I couldn't swear to it

I have been on the balance plus 500 shoes are priced at $169.95 which i have converted to £95.74.  I want some, think i will sell my 200series and buy them in the new season.  If i can afford it that is!!!!!!
