There is no doubt a rational explanation for this, but our newest member is Seniorsview, who registered (according to the data) yesterday 15 August. It appears that the Seniorsview who has posted in the past is now a guest. If it is the same Seniorsview, how did this happen? Why did this happen?

There have been many cases in the past where members unregistered themselves, especially when their names became infected by various intruding spammers. Hairy Haggis springs to mind (I did have contact with him afterwards and he was not to blame), as does Roger7. We are always on the lookout for these things because they could easily develop into a serious problem, so I hope Seniorsview is not in the same territory.

Hi John
Before I went of on holiday I unregistered to simply remove my email address and stop mail.
I registered and declined for my email address not to show, needless to say it still shows. Perhaps you could explain further.

You will find that although you yourself can see your email address, no-one else can. Thanks for explaining, though, you've set my mind at rest!
