Bob tried to watch the Europeans without a great deal of success - I tried and had no success at all - download speed here is 7.1M at the moment.  Has anyone got it to work easily and well and is Mitchnet absent because he is off to Russia to advise?

No Sandy, my feet are still planted firmly in Scotland. I did note that Curlit were having an internet connection problem this morning and they were not updating live line scores. It may be a local issue in Russia and is something that can happen to anyone doing events like this.

BTW: One technical achievement at the Edinburgh International , the delay between the feed going out of the rink and the viewers end was down to a nippy 6 secs thanks to a faster memory upgrade on the computer pushing the feed out and faster routing at the rink. A good internet uplink from the rink is a must for this kind of project. In the past the delay was 30secs or more.

I did the same Sandy, and it wasn't.

Having said that, today was somewhat better than yesterday. Whatever the problem is, I don't think it depends on which browser we are using. All I can say is, if Laola1.tv can provide a perfect viewing experience, why can't Eurosport and the WCF do the same, especially with all the finance they are putting in to it.

I 'watched' much of this afternoon's game on the CurlIT play by play. That brought back memories of the great days of CurlingArena!
