If there weren't for such a huge Inter-Governmental Funding Effort, of the Curling Scene, and therefor the need to "Medal" (what a terrible word) to justify that expenditure.

Many of these rules would not be needed.

It has nothing to do with this but is a consequence of the desire by the Americans and Canadians to have time-outs or coach interactions included in the curling rule book - we have debated the pros and cons of these ad nauseam at WCF meetings over the years and the current system is a compromise between the desire to have a coach interaction but not to add to the overall time of the game.

More importantly is that these teams play the Scottish Junior Championships under the World Championship rules / Conditions.
Imagine if that timing mistake had happened at the Worlds. It would have had a a heavy effect on moral.
We certainly have a great bunch of Juniors up there in Aberdeen.

My congratulations, and admiration, for the Scottish Junior teams at the Worlds. Hannah and team have proved the point, well done indeed. Kyle and team came so close but at least have a consolation -- I will say no more about shot selection!

Well done, both teams.

Well done to both teams, good to see us competing at the business end of the week.  Lets hope that the recent good form over the past few years translates to the Mens and Ladies championships in future years
