The meeting referred to in the December minutes was postponed, as I understand. This week's is the biggie, to discuss the report.

It should have been delivered to all the parties today. I don't know if it was. When will we hear the contents is the question I would like to know the answer to!

It would appear that the report was not delivered to the combatants today and that enough steam has been generated to melt the ice in all of Scotlands Curling rinks.

I will be grateful for guidance on this one but as a moderator of this forum I feel that I should phone Cairnie House tomorrow and ask for the release date of the Vernon report.  My only reason for doing this would be that at least one of the moderators should be online when the report is released in order that any, unlikely, unnecessary and aggressive posts could be removed.  Hope this makes sense.

You sound surprised!

But yes, agreed that there should be a better timeline here, and that SCF deserves to be in the know (same as Bob would be as a journalist!). The Vernon report is important to all curlers, and we all need to ensure that the comments are respectable.

Why are we waiting.....

One would hope that after the initial stramash over who's fault the whole thing was before this process strated lessons would have been learned on the forum

I understand the report has been delivered and will be discussed by the Board this Friday. What then, we all wonder.
