Mind you, he was quite a man, was Mr Telford!

If only, hey! But let me tell you, Mr Telford knew what he was talking about, and when you do it is not difficult. It can be complicated, challenging, even boringly frustrating, but it is not difficult. The trouble with the current system is that they won't allow anyone to do it unless they themselves have control of it to such an extent that they can take the credit for it.

Building a first class curling facility fit for purpose for several decades? Easy. Prove the point, build some more, one after the other. Easy. The RCCC had the chance to do that and turned it down, and now they have nothing.

As Robin says, central design is interesting. Look at the new thing of wind turbines -- they all look the same! Look at cars -- they all look much the same (to me anyway)!
