Does any one know if these are being posted anywhere on the internet.

BTW I see from Eurosport that Scotland won their first game 6.3 against Korea nice to see  them with a score on the board already!

The official website also had an Italian win, and I queried the discrepancy.

But Anette definitely won, and I see that Mike has now sorted that in his report for the RCCC.

For anyone who is a stickler for accuracy, have a look at the official WCF press release for the event. It is posted on the RCCC website here:
http://www.royalcaledoniancurlingclub.org/nlstory.cfm?ID=32777&NLID=40830

Spot the deliberate mistake. (Hint: How many countries play in the World Championships?)

Not laughing, the last seven years have shown me how easy it is to make mistakes and how proofreading is difficult.

I know Italy is not the strongest team but 11-2 after 6 ends is a pretty convincing win

Well Done the girls!!!

I know that we have a long way to go but after 2 games the girls, who weren't given much chance, are sitting at the top of the pile.  Very well done.

I think its a good start it could have gone one of two ways, 2-0  means there is a lot less pressure going into the Sweden game than there would have been at 0-2 and 1-1 !!

That 25-1 looks like a good price at the moment but the next game will tell us much more.

Fantastic start though, keep it up!

Before there is any wild speculation about the line up of the Scottish team at their next game ...I have it straight from the horses mouth that Rachael has asked to be substituted for the next game.

To use her own words "I'm playing like a donkey" and she feels needs to get her head straight , she does not want to let her team or her country down.

I just hope her confidence level comes up enough that she manages to get back on the ice before the end of the tournament!!

My best wishes go to the team!

WOW, what a brave call and very commendable.

My only reservation/question would be; how do you go about regaining your position in the team? as it is nigh impossible to boost your confidence levels from the bench!

Well, from personal experience: Sometimes it just requires a time-out (e.g. sit on the bench) to get your head straight and give you a break before you are ready to try. If you are on a bad streak and can't get a break, chances are that you work yourself up so much, that it only gets worse. So I say good call and let's hope she'll be back in one or two games!

Surely that performance has to strengthen the argument that Eve should skip at the Olympics. It seemed there was good rapport between her and Jackie.

Great to see Jackie slipping easily into role as a second, highlights how flexible a player she is!
